A woman suffering from an ear infection in 2017 went to a Parkway Shenton clinic for treatment. After giving her a prescription for antibiotics, the doctor discharged her.
The woman’s condition continued to deteriorate, and she was eventually diagnosed with meningitis, which led to the irreparable loss of her hearing. The woman and her family accused the clinic of medical malpractice by inaccurately diagnosing her condition and failing to provide proper care for her.
A lawsuit was initiated as a consequence of the incident, and the court concluded that the clinic had been neglectful in providing medical care.
