BIOGRAPHY

Ms Wendy Wang graduated from Beijing Normal University and Beijing University having read Philosophy and Law respectively. In 1989 and in the subsequent 10 years of her career, she served as a Judge in Jinan, Shandong, China. In the year 2000, she migrated to Singapore and was then granted permission by the Singapore Attorney General Chambers to practice Chinese Law as a Foreign Law Advisor.

Wendy plays a very special and unique role at Advox Law LLC. Her expertise lies in her positioning as a connector, facilitator and coordinator, between our Singaporean lawyers as well as those in China. Wendy is also very strongly connected to law firms all over China including Beijing, Shanghai, Shandong, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanxi and Fujian.

Wendy also renders an invaluable service to our practising lawyers by her able assistance, support and translation to enable understanding from foreign clienteles (especially from China) in the areas of immigration matters, commercial and contractual litigation and arbitration disputes, liaising cross borders clienteles and over forum choice of jurisdictions, as advised by our local practitioners as well as assisting our solicitors in areas of incorporation of companies, personal Injury (Worksite accidents, Road Traffic, etc.), Family (divorce, wills, inheritance and succession laws, etc.), Medical Negligence, Crime, Commercial, Employment Dispute and Notary matters. Our lawyers (including those from other firms) find Wendy to be an excellent facilitator across many work scopes as above stated.

She is a valuable asset to Advox Law LLC and provides our firm with elite and niche professionalism in that she manages to bridge the differences of cultural and language gaps between foreign China clienteles to our local context and understanding of our lawyer’s explanation of their cases.
