BIOGRAPHY

Wentao graduated from Singapore Management University in 2019 and was admitted to the Singapore Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor in August 2020.

Wentao has handled and assisted in dispute resolution cases involving commercial and contractual disputes, employment disputes, rental and tenancy disputes, disputes relating to the sale of vehicles, CPF nomination disputes, personal torts, medical negligence and personal injury claims. In acting for the Clients in these disputes, Wentao has assisted the Clients to explore and represent them in cost-effective alternative dispute resolution avenues such as negotiations and mediation.

Wentao has also assisted in criminal law matters, handling cases involving traffic accidents, illegal moneylending and white collar crimes.

In relation to family law, Wentao also has experience in handling disputes on the division of matrimonial assets, including disputes involving large amounts of matrimonial assets exceeding $20 million.

Prior to being admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor, as a trainee or an intern, Wentao has also had experience in handling commercial dispute and probate dispute matters.
